Easter with the Cranks

I love my husbands sense of humour. It has a childlike (and sometimes childish) quality. He particularly loves word play and is very good at picking up languages that he previously didn't understand.

He's been on form this weekend. Yesterday morning, Archie was having his morning bottle in his customary position - between us on our bed - when Phil started singing him a song:
"There were three in the bed
and the little one said....
GGG-ggg-GGGG"!

It doesn't really survive writing down but it had me in hysterics and amused Archie no-end too.

I did wonder, this morning, when I caught him flicking through the Sky+ Box and pausing on the listing for "Urbi et Orbi" on BBC1. I was expecting a joke. But when he pressed the information button and I saw the confused look on his face when he read that the programme was the Pope's traditional Easter message from the Vatican, I had to ask what the problem was. Turns out that he thought Urbi and Orbi were childrens cartoon characters! I guess you had to be there but my stomach muscles are still hurting now.
